From 6th - 10th June 2016 the IBM Bluemix team set up their popup shop at Old Street Station, London. This 360° tour of the popup shop shows some of the displays in action including a Twitter controlled BB8 Droid, an Internet of Things Foosball table, A digital dollhouse and a voice sentiment sweet dispenser. Technology used includes IBM Bluemix and Raspberry Pi.

IBM launched its first ever pop-up shop in London’s Silicon roundabout in June 2016. Following the company’s hugely popular Cognitive Studio at SXSW 2016, the event was aimed at bringing their Platform as a Service offering,Bluemix, to the forefront.

As well as hearing from inspirational speakers like blind ultra-marathon runner Simon Wheatcroft, IBM also displayed a broad range of nifty demos, designed to appeal to your inner geek. Disruptive Tech TV were there to catch the whole thing live, from IoT Foosball tables to a Watson Candy Dispenser.
