Led by Lulu Laidlaw-Smith, these dynamic innovators will take our guests through their experiences in the world of disruption, sharing the stories and insights they have gained along the way.
Georgia Stewart — @tumeloHQ
Georgia is passionate about climate change and conservation and believes that positive investment coupled with shareholder engagement is the best way to affect global change. During her Cambridge degree, she sat on the Positive Investment Committee, tasked with improving the way Cambridge invested its £6bn endowment. She’s worked for multiple ‘green’ investment houses, such as Jupiter and on the Natural Capital Coalition for Fauna & Flora. Georgia is now Co-Founder of Tumelo, an investment app designed to facilitate positive change by allowing people to invest in what they love and have influence, as shareholders, at the companies they own.
Bill Palmer — @consentricare
Bill Palmer, Executive Partner and founder, lives in Surrey with his wife. He is a seasoned innovator and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience in senior leadership roles in large enterprises including Systems Integrators and Independent Software Vendors. Bill is a strong advocate of putting the consumer at the centre of everything an organisation does. He believes that lasting improvements can only ever be achieved by empowering the individual, giving them the facts and the tools to make their own informed choices. Bill’s own personal experiences led him to the realisation that the elder care ecosystem in the UK is dysfunctional and badly in need of transformation both by de-stressing the process of organising care by making it more understandable to patients and carers alike and by taking some of the pressure off the NHS and local social services. In his spare time, Bill is an award-winning photographer and published author.
Charlotte Roach — @joinrabble
After a near-fatal accident ended her career as an international triathlete, Charlotte cycled 10,000 miles to raise money for the charity that saved her life. Working in London, Charlotte noticed that exercise without a performance goal had become a chore and concluded that this was why most adults don’t exercise enough. Having studied Neuroscience & Physiology at Cambridge University, Charlotte understood the importance of motivations in behaviour change. Wanting to have a healthy, long term relationship with regular exercise without dreading it, she founded Rabble, resulting in her being named a Next Generation Sports Industry Leader in 2017.
